NFL players understandably do the dumbest shyt.
They are insulated longer than other sports because most guys don't turn pro until their 20s...after previously being coddled in high school for 4 years and college between 3-5 years.
MLB/NHL have minor leagues so you get your dumb shyt out while you're still under the radar and not making crazy money.
NBA guys go pro earlier and get the wakeup call sooner. Foreign born brehs go pro as kids damn near so they mature faster.
These dudes get away with shyt in college and forget the NFL ain't like college. Now dude went to SMU which is right near where the accident happened off 75. Cops are rarely on 75 that far south as I only see them once you get north past Richardson and are well into Collin County. Dude didn't think about dash cams. Guaranteed he had MJ or some Delta 9 from one of the shops off Greenville Ave. Had to run away or he would have gotten a DUI/DWI charge.
He's not a Cowboy so Jerry can't protect him. Hunt family has roots in Dallas so they might be able to help him...maybe.

Also got to factor in NFL players having way more free time than baseball and basketball players. They have a longer offseason. Spend less time on planes so more idle time to act up. On top of that the most physical game which leads to using substances to ease the pain.
