I understand what op means but I can’t knock it tbh, my problem is that people don’t take it seriously and only do it as a flavor of the month kind of thing which is annoying and shows me that you weren’t really that interested or vested into it. It’s like nikkas who make beats or rap, yeah you doing something but I give you 2-3 yrs Max before you get bored and move onto something else

Unlike lame ass hip hop, podcasts have lowkey fire for free 99 and I don't feel obligated to revisit the episodes.

I rather support folks that drop gems and shoot the shyt for 2 hours versus some druggie tattooed up flunkie drooling for 30 minutes because heavens forbid they actually make hour long albums anymore

Barring the dumb druggie talk shorter albums in general are people trying to beat the system

the shorter your album, the more replay value is increased, the more replay you have the greater your payout is

can’t really fault folks for trying to gauge the system

if its wack, toss it in the bushes and keep it moving

There are some good ones but the majority are shyt. People recording general chatter you'd hear in your lunchroom or break room at work, or someone saying some wildly offensive shyt for shock value.
