@ReturnOfJudah i just hope mickey and martin dont leave.. I can see Mickey comin back

Unless they go on another 8 game winning streak, they both should return. Both are play down to their competition. They should have saw blood in the water last night against Mizzou and beat them by 25. Johnny Jones need to teach those boys too, rather than playing streetball.

They need one more fire ass assistant coach, thats what they need... You figure Musselman would be nice but the coaching staff is as bad as les miles on saturdays sometimes..

LSU signee Ben Simmons, commit Antonio Blakeney named McDonald's All-Americans

Ben Simmons and Antonio Blakeney will another chance to be teammates long before the duo ever gets to Baton Rouge.

Simmons, the No. 1 recruit in the nation, and Blakeney, the No. 2 shooting guard in the country, will be on the same team at the McDonald's All-American Game as the rosters were announced Wednesday.

The game features 24 prospects from around the country, and LSU and Duke are the only schools with two committed participants in the game. There are nine prospects that have yet to commit.

Simmons and Blakeney, rated as the No. 13 prospect in the country by Rivals and the No. 14 prospect by ESPN, give the Tigers the No. 6 recruiting class in the country according to ESPN's calculations.
The duo could be joined at LSU by JaQuan Lyle, a consensus top-50 recruit in the Class of 2014 who had to reclassify to 2015, and will be joined by former St. Augustine and Findlay Prep power forward Craig Victor, who originally signed with Arizona and played eight games before transferring to LSU in January.

Victor will be eligible at the end of the 2015 fall semester.

Louisiana had nine boys named as McDonald's All-American nominees, but none made the roster. The players were St. Michael's Jacob Evans, Madison Prep's Brandon Sampson, Higgins' Melvin Frazier, Byrd's Chad Lott, Riverside's Von Julien and West Jefferson's Jonathan Dalton, Bruce Houston, Santana Jacobs and Trevanta Robinson.

Tulane commitment Kain Harris also was nominated but not selected.

LSU fans can watch Simmons and Blakeney in the McDonald's All-American Game on April 1. The game will be played at the United Center in Chicago.
