Trying to split up co-writing credits that are already credited to a dead man decades after the fact sounds like quite the task…especially with no paperwork saying how much he wrote and apparently not owning his own publishing anyway (apparently the Rex dude does)…he’d be in a protracted legal battle with Static’s estate, a handful of labels, every credited person on the song, and the Rex guy…judging from the fact this was brought up first in a rambling IG Live rant and not a lawsuit, I’m doubtful he has the resources for that

Singles were not 1 buck in 2007 or whenever it dropped
They were on iTunes and it went diamond in 2022.

It’s funny how people will say rappers don’t make shyt of music. But also say that 10 million singles is 100s of millions :mjlol:

Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj and them must be billionaires just of singles with your maths

Travis Scott Goosebumps with Kendrick sold 16x platinum. I guess they single made 200 million - coli royalty department.

lol Uzi very got unknown songs going 5x, 4x, 7x, coli royalty department estimates that the co-writers for those should expect 15-20ms each.

Some mfers be scared to speak out because they scared it's going to ruin their industry opportunities and connections.

It's believable I think Pleasure P use to hang with Static before he passed. I know they got a song together.
What opportunities and connections? Man ain't had a hit since Boyfriend #2.

He would've been alright

Specific names? Ok? Let me google and come up with some.

So Boyfriend #2 that was the leading single off his debut solo album that dropped in 2009 and lollipop came out 2008. Just looked at the songwriter and producer credits for Tha Carta III and see a couple of the same people listed for Pleasure's debut solo album Static and Darrius "Deezle" Harrison. Had Pleasure went on record complaining about proper credits I could see cats not wanting to work with him. Especially with how fragile artist's egos are in the indurstry. People been blackballed for less in the industry.

Like I said I think it's believable he contributed to the song. Do I have proof no and never said I did.
