just viewing them is fine. we would never ask or encourage anyone to click on ads just to try and help us out. thats the number 1 rule with any advertising company...if they thought we were asking for clicks we would get banned instantly
how do companies know if you have adblock or your computer or browser activated?

they dont know that...the ad script tracks how many "impressions"(views) a particular ad gets, which is how we get paid. $x per 1000 impressions...so if half the forum is using adblock, then we're only getting half the revenue we could potentially be getting
