Playstation Showcase (Wednesday, 24th May, 1 PM PT) (60+ Minutes Long, PS5/PSVR2) (MGS??)

This was ok showcase. I give it a B-

Mixed the indies, AA, AAA, and exclusives throughout. VR did need it's own section.

The Earbuds were dope, but that streaming thing....ain't for me.

Closing with Spidey 2 was huge. They gotta be doing a state of play as well so why the long trailer? Found that kinda weird.

I give it an 8/10. -2 for the cgi only trailers. I got everything except Factions. Everything aint gonna be for me, but did they showcase the value of owning a Playstation? Its a yes for me.

Great showcase, a huge chunk of those games will be multiplat so I don't see it as "the case for a PS5" moreso just a ton of excitement around some amazing looking games coming "soon".

Showcase was aight. Too much CGI but it had a lot of variety tho only a few were in my wheel house.

I got spidey and mgs confirmation so I’m satisfied.

Phantom blade was a bonus.

Breh I’m subscribed to a lot of gamers. Each and every one of them was watching live, and is highly disappointed right now. There’s no way around it. They dropped the ball with this one. Xbox theoretically shouldn’t have a problem having a better show in a few weeks.

True overall. But my highlights were exclusive or at the least timed exclusive. Those being Marathon, Snake Eater, and Spiderman.

Showcase was mid as fukk Spider-man 2 saved the shyt for me. I give it a 5/10. This is what happens when arrogant Sony knows the competition is weak. No fukkin PC releases, No fukkin Factions, No Stellar Blade a fukkload of CGI trailers like seriously what the fukk. Microsoft better have this because Sony set the bar low to get upstaged.

I’ve always thought it was possible Xbox could deliver a great show (just not better than this showcase lol), and still not deliver on release of the games based off their history. They can definitely beat this show. Even if the games release much later, and don’t live up to the hype. They can at least put on a better show. That’s basically what MS does anyway. Give the illusion great games are coming.
