If MS has anything concrete on how much the price is getting raised on GP, around the 20th hour would have been the perfect time to drop the news. That way when it does happen people don't act shocked and social media can't run it into the ground. But tbh I'm sure the numbers show that the "I'm unsubbing crowd" really doesn't make any kind difference overall anyway.

Dropping a price increase now would have forced people and media to time and energy between PS Network being down clicks or gamepass price increase.
