I could break it down to 3 genres....Sports Games, FPS, and fighting since those are the 3 main multiplayer style games.
Also need to make it mandatory to have the list of users/psn ids in the OP for Each Game thread.

A lil bit of everything. Damn near anything except for Sim type games (sports or racing sims). So from RPGS, fighting games, action games, adventure games, action-adventure to platformers and puzzle games, I play. I'm not too big on shooter games, especially not FPSes, but I still play a wealth of those types as well. If I play a shooter as far as any MP goes (still not often) it's liable to be third-person. I will play dope, exceptional single player FP games like Doom Eternal, Portal 2, Mirror's Edge, Half-Life, basically the ones that aren't just your standard MP shooter fair. Same thing with racing games like Mario Kart 8, Wipeout HD, Crash Team Racing, Motorstorm, etc.
As far as competitively tho, I main fighters. And as far as co-ops, mainly action-adventure/rpg types like Geshin Impact, Souls/Nioh style games. Definitely love platformers too, even in co-op, despite that some feel like those are more difficult in co-op.
No muhfukka, you make it at least 5 genres. Those three, plus action/adventure/RPS and platformers/puzzle games, fool.

You can make this process even more easier and streamlined for not just genres of games, but game types by making an open accessed Google spreadsheets and just add names and tabs accordingly.

I put the games in the spreadsheet and everyone just checks off the major multiplayer games they play. That way you can just filter and look at who else has it and be done. The top part and names/psn ids cells aren't editable. Only the checkboxes for the games.

Looks like you only got one genre and the radio top 40's style list of games on there. But it's a start.
I'd suggest having the top five genre types have their own tabs and then, within each of those, yoy can put more games at the top with your check off boxes for them as well.
