I'd be pissed, hundreds if not thousands of dollars are invested into my PSN

But yeah, we need to pivot back to physical and not let them take physicals off shelves, it's getting too grimy rn
I told the brehs that. I'm never going all digital. The day we have no physical games is the day I stop buying games. Only shyt I cop digital is deep discounted.

I've said many many times that I hate a beef with digital games being priced the same as physical copies. That alone is a con.

Only reason I do primarily digital is due to having multiple systems in my crib. Buying one is good for both.

but yeah, I get the beef with all digital only.

Problem is even now when you buy a "physical" edition, they just put the digital code in the case :francis:

Only online games. In which case you wouldn’t be able to use your physical games on your account either. Same rules.
You seem to want to argue for arguments sake.

I had bought a PlayStation 3 with a banned account. It had Haze on it. Despite being on the console HDD it couldn't be played.

It even says this on Playstation's website.

You talmbout a PS3 :stopitslime: and no it doesn’t say that in the link.

I don’t know what your PS3 or Haze did, but currently if it’s on the drive you can play it.

Most likely that PS3 you had was not set up as that users home console, therefore nobody could play that game there other than the user that purchased it

I'm telling you that some games will be greyed out when your account is banned. Even if you have downloaded the game.

I’m telling you, you are mistaken.

Sony doesn’t even say that in the link. They say you are banned from going online that’s it.

Any digital games you can play offline now, you’d still be able to play if your account was suspended.

He's right, all games need an online check at some point to access. I've had issues on ps4 where all my games had a padlock and couldn't be played due to issues with Sony's servers. Had to use the "restore licenses" feature to access the games.

When banned you just can’t go online. You can play the games you already downloaded.
You can no longer tie your account to new systems cause they not gonna let you log in. Means your games are now trapped on the last hardware you logged onto pre-ban. That’s a problem.

No.

As long as it’s set as your home console you can play your games offline indefinitely.

This is why i said before most peoples problems with digital games comes from ignorance of how it actually works not the terms themselves.

You can move the hard drive to a new system just like you can take your disc to a new system. You can’t log on anymore either way.

Last I checked you had to validate any new system to play games tied to your account. The system has to go online and with a banned account you can't authorize a new system.
