Nah breh, Mayhem was actually somewhat playable. Backstage Assault is where the bottom fell out completely.
Weren't Mayhem and BA basically the same?

Can’t believe I had my mama waste money buying Nitro and Thunder
I bought that crap was horrible
Being Loyal to PS1 while N64 was Turning Up cost me during that era
BA might deserve its own thread. That game was a "special" kind of atrocity.
Playing nitro for hours….
shoulda stopped there
What Aki used to create those two.
Graphics were worse, collision detection was worse, and no ring really lost its charm after a couple of matches.Weren't Mayhem and BA basically the same?
The only good parts about this game back then were the graphics and how the wrestlers attires would change depending on which faction they were in
Gameplay/frame rate was so ass it was reverse promotion, literally made me get a used N64 just so I could play Revenge instead
or one of the member of your factions you could call them in to interfere
Fixed.
That game was "special" in the meaning that it did not know any better.
WWF Smackdown was piff. Smackdown 2 still has the GOAT season mode along with SYM.The best thing were those small intro videos while picking your player, this game sucked and WWF No Mercy was way better. WWF Smackdown was also fun for the first Playstation.

Facts. Devs still can't figure out how to do the endless season mode well. 3 generations laterWWF Smackdown was piff. Smackdown 2 still has the GOAT season mode along with SYM.
Nitro and Thunder held me down. I was a kid and wasn’t one of these gamer weirdos obsessed with shyt.
Those E fighting games bored me after some time. I didn’t like the SF/MK style they did. Attitude and War Zone had me
And WCW vs the World was basically WCW/NWO for the PS.
