Herman Moore, it’s like we know he was good, but like nobody could point out a game where you were like shyt, he ain’t fukkin around, not gon lie now he damn near had a 2k season at receiving yards, and it was a 4 year stretch he was doing numbers, but it’s like we just say he’s good, but was he doing numbers because he was the only wr worth a damn playing for the lions :yeshrug:

In the mid 90s, you couldn't tell a young me that Dennis Scott wasn't a "great" shooter and a 3pt specialist. He had a goat nickname of 3-D and wore #3. I remember an "Inside Stuff" segment where he looked at the camera and said "2 for you, 3 for D" :jawalrus:

But looking at the 3pt stats now, breh is like 80th all-time in makes and just a few spots ahead of......Ron Artest.:mjlol:

Yeah, yeah, "the game has changed", but 80th....Ron Artest? Even dudes like Dale Ellis are still in top 25.

To expand this. On some other shyt, a young Dennis Scott (talking high school and college even) was basically what Grant Hill later became. I’m pretty sure Grant even speaks of Dennis as kind of someone he modeled his game after. It’s just that once Penny got there Dennis decided to pretty much only be a three point specialist, but he used to have the handle and the passing ability of a PG.

man please, chris webber was on balanced teams and showed his ass his whole career.
he was wasted potential and lacked consistency.
he had all nba talent yet never made it there
and I was wrong. he never actually averaged 20ppg and only cleared 8 boards twice.

C WEBB AVERAGED 24.8 PTS
ON 21.4 SHOTS WITH A 48.3 EFG%
DURING HIS
4 ALL STAR SEASONS IN SAC.

RASHEED AVERAGED 18.2 PTS
ON 14.8 SHOTS WITH A 52 EFG%
DURING THAT
SAME SPAN.

C WEBB HAD A SEASON
WHERE HE TOOK 23.4 SHOTS.
AINT shyt BALANCED
ABOUT THAT.

SAME THING HAPPENED
TO NICK ANDERSON.

DUDE WAS A 3 LEVEL SCORING GUARD
BUT WAS REDUCED TO A SPOT UP
3P SHOOTER ONCE SHAQ
AND PENNY TOOK OVER.

THAT TEAM WAS LOADED
BUT NOT USED TO ITS
FULL POTENTIAL.
