Thats the point. We can make the light bulb last forever, however, it would defeat the purpose of mass consumption of light bulbs in a capitalist society.

I feel the same about the pharmaceutical industry. They have cures for chronic diseases but "they" would lose so much $ from the maintenance drugs. Fukkas.
