Just watched the first episode 'Islands' on BBC iPlayer...

the cinematography and detail is out of this world....when they showed the formation of those lava islands


this shyt made me wanna explore the world. Sir David as usual on top form.

No idea it is truly incredible how close they get to these animals but the amount of filming and re-layering of scenes and organising must be insane

in fact the whole episode was 1 hour but the last 10 mins was dedicated to demonstrating the filming process so that may give you some insight idk

that was on iPlayer tho not sure if on TV it was the regular 50 mins or 1 hour (with those 10 allocated minutes)
