Clayton Kershaw is a perfect example of why some of these players break down as soon as they hit 30, all you have to do is look at his physique, obligatory :dame:

Signs for major money well into his 30s but can't be bothered to eat right, stop drinking, and stay in the gym.

No surprise he's constantly on the DL with back and knee issues.

You then go on baseball reference and click on 2018, his age 30 year, and below that you see zero Cy Youngs, MVPs, no bold or italic numbers.

Then you see him during the celebrations without a shirt (again, Dame) and it all starts making sense.
Watch it now. Goatshaw run is as long as any modern pitcher

Yea he played. He missed like the first 2 or 3 months. Returned kind of sucked. Got hurt and was out for season
Well, then he earned the ring even if he didn’t contribute in the playoffs. I’m sure he won a game or two which matters big time.

I need the dodgers to focus on getting a good starting pitching and a legit closer

Offensively, just want someone who is solid at the bottom of the lineup
People are going to laugh at me. But you guys are going to have a starting 3 rotation of Yoshi, Shohei, and Yusei Kikuchi. I’m not looking forward to seeing those 3 next October :beli:

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Can't place all the blame on judge. If Cole had covered first he woulda been out of it with zero runs. This has been a collective collapse by the yanks.

You’re right but Judge, to his credit, took accountability :ehh: it was a crazy error to have in that moment

It started with Enrique Hernández breaking the modest no-hit bid with a leadoff single. Four pitches later, Tommy Edman hit a routine line drive to Judge in center field. An inning earlier, sure-handed Judge had made a highlight catch crashing into the wall to steal extra bases from Freddie Freeman. This time, he flubbed the liner for his first error in 2024 -- regular season or postseason.

"That doesn't happen, we got a different story tonight," Judge said.

They'd struggle to find a big name manager that would be aligned with what the FO and the analytics team calls for. I will say I think Dave let it hang out a little bit these playoffs though
Dodgers have the money and resources to pry Hinch away from Detroit. He knows how to win and get the most out of his players. He got an $18mil roster to beat our asses like a Cherokee Drum and had the rest of the AL shook.

going thru the dodgers roster.

i think itd be disrespectful to not give teoscar a contract

but as much as i dont like soto. they need to get soto just cause he is younger.

the dodgers are old. that starting lineup is in there 30s so they need some younger players on that field

Came in here to say this exact same thing. This ring actually counts, not that Mickey Mouse shyt from 2020.

Yankees were an embarrassment to the AL and had no business being in the WS. Completely outclassed by the Dodgers.

The “mickey mouse” ring was actually a much tougher task than even this year’s.

I mean he made the all star game the prior two seasons and had an under 3 ERA.
