first off wolves live on fight or flight reaction. they more often than not would not engage in a full on combat situation with a dog bred for combat for well over 200 years. there have been many large purebred combat champion pitbulls that come close to the size of wolves so size would not be the deciding factor. you're comparing a world class MMA fighter to your local goon thief relying on pure strength punching.

Sportsmen across the world have imported APBT's to compete against other combat animals. Read up about the first imported pitbulls into Japan, who were dominating the Tosas often much bigger than them, losing only due to rules of silence and time the Japanese use. Lb for Lb there has not been a breed or a wolf that can touch the APBT bred to it's original standard. It;s been proven and tried many times over versus Kangals, Tosas, canary dogs etc. A wolf doesn't make any sense as it is a fight or flight animal, not a dog selectively bred for combat.

I owned one breh, he weighed like 190lbs, got him one of them indestructible dog toys was a big ball that i could stand on and it wouldnt bend in, this bytch used to squeeze it in its mouth like nothin. They are lazy and shyt but quick if it needs to be.

Edit: But by 5 years old he had bad hips strained walking and died of an enlarged heart. :sadcam:

There's a slight bit of "gassing up" going on in this thread. Guard dogs such as Kangal and Neo Mastiffs are impressive, have heart and will hold their own against most of your average predators including wolves, though they might have their work cut out for them against some North American species such as the Yukon and Canadian Timberwolf. But when we start talking Jaguars? Tigers? Lions? :whoa:

At the end of the day, most of your domesticated animals are just no match for large, hungry, bloodthirsty predators such as Tigers and Jaguars. You talking about natural, skilled killers who drag animals like water buffalo(hundred of lbs) up trees on a daily basis, and even if by chance they do get a upper hand, they are not coming out of that fight without being severely fukked up.
