Up until the point he locked on his muzzle that fight could have gone either way
I dont know anything at all about dog fighting but I do know that its unfair to discount that as if its a small thing
I would think that locking down the muzzle of a dog that is pretty much trying to kill you with said muzzle seems pretty dominant. But like I said... I don't know much about this type of sh)t

There's a hybrid cat called a savannah, people are starting to buy them. They weigh bout 30 lbs and look like a big house cat.
People who own them say it's hopeless trying to own even a big dog like a Germany Shepard with one.
They are CONSTANTLY, just all day, every day trying to catch the dog slippin, kill it and eat it.
Wild animals are on a whole not her level brehs.

As a someone who not only used to date a Wildlife Biologist in college,
but pretty seasoned in wildlife shyt myself.
I'll end all the arguments.
A Pit, or American Pit-Bull Terrier isn't even king of the dog breed
I'd take A Mastiff
For the sake of argument,
I'm speaking of any Wolf of the Canis Lupus Family(Gray Wolf)
The wolf/pit thing isn't even a debate
I personally heard someone my pops knew from the military who mix-bread Eastern Wolves with German Shepherds for military guard duty and he specifically said no pit could even fukk with the hybrid.
I'll break it down:
1. No one has ever, yes, ever heard of a dog defending itself against a hungry wolf in the northern states. Wolves hunt and kill everyday, thats what they do.
2. Hair, the Wolfs mane is too thick of hair for a direct attack and would be armor for the wolf in this case. The pit has none, every body-shot would do damage.
3. People talk about pitts relentlessness and fighting to the death. But ask any experienced wolf hunter, a wolf fighting for its life is another ballpark. Once again, they're wild. Everyday of life is a fight.
4. Wolves Hatred of other Canines- THIS.

I present to you the Polar Bear
No it doesn't drink coke as Coca-Cola would have you believe
The largest and most powerful land carnivore on the planet
Always hunting for food
There paws feature 4 inch knives as nails
They can smell you from over a mile away
They can maintain 20mph for 1mile
They can swim for over 200miles at a time
So in other words,
Unless you have powered transportation
If one wants to eat you in the Artic
It will

story timeWe all know that Pits are savage. But Wolves are on another level. Not just because Wolves are bigger, but primarily because of their strength, endurance and the fact that they are a wlid and (non domestic animal) One thing I will give Pits credit for is that they will fight to the death and they have a high pain thresh hold. Ive seen 60-65lb pits damn near kill other dogs 2 times their size.
Real talk I saw a 60lb Pit destroy a 110 lb Akita
