I thought that mix was intentional by the engineers. That transition was magic though. Andre is dope. Went from some sentimental testament of a dude finding love and quitting his thottish ways over acapella and then the drums with "My bytch a choosey lover, never fukks w/o a rubber"

Kinda like on the Chronic LP when you have that transition from The Day nikkas Took Over to G Thang with the mellow Leon Haywood sample.

Makes you wonder how many other artist got in their own way with the songs as we ended up hearing them. Sometimes you hear records and you just know they woulda owned the summer if they were tweaked a little. This reminds me of when scarface said he didn't want trey songz' chorus on "girl you know" when that shyt really set that song off. The original sounds like some lost 90's track

Pimp had the best quotable out of the entire joint, and the way it was introduced was classic itself.

Chad was always a character. I always wondered what a ODB and Pimp C conversation would look like.

Couldn't imagine Dre verse any other way. But from pimps prospective if someone sends you a track its disrespectful to change anything w/o permission

This...that was the issue. How am I gonna send a track for a verse and you come back with a remix? Dre's verse was basically spoken word, not Pimp style.

Having said that, 3k knew what he was doing and the drums set off Pimps verse like crazy. Def made the song better and really made it into a classic video as well.
