He certainly has/had the potential to do so...but then, as already mentioned...nothing was stopping him from making a mixtape better than Dreamchasers 2 while he was on MMG...and that didn't happen...he and Gunplay had the best song on Self Made Vol. 1 other than maybe Pandemonium...not sure what happened after that...he dropped a disappointing mixtape and fell out with Ross...it's a difference between simply having potential and realizing it...he missed out on what was likely the best shot of his career, there aren't too many better situations than MMG for artists like him

Pill been nice, he shoulda took the Nipsey route instead. He'd prolly have MMG as a contact still on some collab-once-in-awhile shyt. I really hope he gets back to that 4080/4075 form he had.

Wasn't really his choice. When Ross got that WMG deal they told him basically "Choose/Take an artist that we have that has no buzz/is languishing here" and he chose Pill.

And I'm sorry; half of his career is buzz from "Trap Goin Ham", as an artist he has never moved me and he failed to connect with people in his MMG situation (something Wale was able to do even). He's not good.

This thread is some bullshyt not bc I disagree I actually think Pill could've and would've made a better album but I vividly remember people shytting on Pill back when he first signed with MMG and especially on that Self Made Vol. 1(even though he had the best verses on the album) Ol revisionist history ass nikkas. I was the main one telling y'all to check him out when him and Freddie Gibbs had better chemistry than anybody(Do wrong, Womb 2 The Tomb, Run Up To Me) and when he dropped The Refill. Coastin is still my shyt.

Pill is nice. I think the biggest difference between the two is that Pill has more versatile subject matter. I haven't heard a song from Meek like Don't Let Me Go. That was my favorite song on thar album. I had all of the verses memorized.

Na he don't have any body of work thats better than dc1, dc2, or dreams and nightmares, I was hype off him after I heard please dont let go(probably 2nd best song on the album, but all his solo work was trash, I liked the refill kinda, but na he couldn't make shyt happen
