At least that’s an American and even Canadian/South American thing. Don’t we have cats from Colombia, the DR and PR here?
Pretty sure most people know where other main posters are from. Folks from Cali know the squad, same for NY, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Ohio, etc. We all vouching for certain spots we know as locals when somebody brings it up. When something happens locally, even in the state, folks from there start talking about it.
If you don’t know what city someone is reppin’ after all this time, it low key seems kinda “foreign”.
