No. He's not my type. He seems like a good man who holds things down, but he's a little too whitewashed and generic for me. Yup. Looks are not the only detail. There's a difference between a type and a classification.
That's why when I read what some of the men say; they're being wayyyy too hard on themselves, taking rejection personally, or discounting their own value and self-worth. I think they talk themselves out of potential situations. It's not my place to dictate how they feel or interject in those situations (or on those threads) bc I can't relate but from my end, what you said is facts.
