a dikkerson face mask can help offset an ugly number to a degree. It's like a nice pair of kicks saving an outfit. Plus Newman had the accessories, you gotta really swag yourself out to make 40 look good. Especially as a twig like Nashon.

the only other options are to tender him or give him a Jaylon Smith type contract. That’s money that can be spent elsewhere.

the reason why Dallas never have enough to get any meaningful free agents or trade for high picks is because they’re loyal to a fault.
An If but what if LVE doesn't get hurt and puts together an all pro season, then what? You still let him go for nothing?

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
They can. His guaranteed has already been paid for 2019 and 2020. It’s the dead cap that would be problem. It’s best to wait until next season to do that though.

Huh? :dahell:

This is the final year of is contract. If they cut him it would be a cap hit of $3,769,748 and a dead cap value of $1,674,142.

They could trade him for a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Then they would have to pay him. Honestly, this is why Dallas is always fukked up when it comes to their roster.

A player balls out in the final year of their deal after being meh the previous years. Dallas over pays to keep them, and they become meh again. LVE regressed way too much to warrant a long term contract. Plus he can't stay healthy. He's Sean Lee 2.0.

It's time to give other players a shot. All he would be doing is taking away snaps from players on cheaper deals.

And if he balls out, Dallas would probably tender him, and next year they would still have to pay him or lose him for nothing like Byron Jones. They don't really help the coaches by doing this. The coaches feel obligated to play certain players, and rarely develop the backups.
