who's to say they pan out better than the guys we drafted..yall just basing this off of hot names, I doubt any of you have done the research to warrant this type of outrage

I'm basing this off of what the Cowboys wanted (and needed) and how they've maneuvered during this draft.
They've had players sniped right in front of them that they coveted and lost out because of trying to make the playoffs and because they haven't tried to package some of these picks to move up and get their guy.

That being said, they've got some good consolation prizes in Parsons and Joseph. Some great athletes with talent and attitude

Parsons was gonna be there. And he was the top rated D player on their board.
I'm sure Horn and Surtain were right below him and they were gonna go with the more pressing need. (Kinda like Bosa, Ramsey and Zeke a few years ago.)

Parsons (and Slater) was a decent fall back plan.
