The game doesn't give you choice it's linear as shyt. Maybe you're confusing it with Crysis 1 (the superior game).

No I mean you choose whether you engage enemies or sneak past etc

i'm not using nvidia, i'm using an ATI Saphire.

i don't have all the graphics turned up.
it seems that the patches are a problem though...but i got it through Steam so i think that the updates are automatic.

the 6870 is a decent card and is serving me well.
on a side note, i ran into the same staggering graphics with Crysis 1 using this card when i decided to play it again.

the driver is updated and all that.

I just provided that chart as an example of better cards that can't maintain 60 fps with everything turned up

I don't know what up with the updates. check the steam forum for that game to see if others are having similar issues

yeah, I liked the first one way more too

unfortunately the openness and sandbox nature led to many bugged missions though. that tends to be an issue with almost every sandbox game, but most of those games fix them eventually...
