Jim was in movies starting in the late 60s. 1969 was in the 60's, when this new film is depicted.
Guess who's coming to dinner was in 1967.
Sidney won the Academy Award for Best actor in 1964.
sidney rejected saidaward (His satisfaction at this honor was undermined by his concerns that this award was more of the industry congratulating itself for having him as a token and it would inhibit him from asking for more substantive considerations afterwards)
didnt work for a year , then only did one movie a year from 67-70.. no longer being a major player in hollywood
both of these mens catalog and impact goes without saying, but limited activity in that decade is the reality of their careers(sans sidneys run from 64-67)
nonetheless 2 black people in a whole city doesnt warrant representation in a movie
Will be my first QT flick since Death Proof
Was just watching deathproof the other day and Kurt Russel was so fukking great in it man.
Dude tried to run these girls off the road for a half hour, basically kill them, was yelling all kinda foul shyt at him then when they caught him he was like "be careful I think my arm is broken". The nerve and delusion of telling the people you just tried to kill that they need to chill cuz you might be hurt
I was dying. One of the most underrated Tarantino characters.
Dude was great in that film. Tarantino is really good at when their actors can pull off their characters. I don't know how does Tarantino able to pull their actors into real "Characters"

Wonder who's going to get to say ****** the most?
Well it is the 60's, which would make sense thematically.
its 1960's hollywood
Hateful Eight is 9/10Will be my first QT flick since Death Proof
Ya can pull this shyt with a lot of directors like scorcese, nolan and even Speilberg. But not with QT, most of his movies have a main black star and black supporting actors.aint a brother or sister in that cast. ill pass
