I honestly thnk this will be Kojimas last big game
:jbhmm:Nah I doubt it but I wouldn’t be surprised. If he slowed down and let his team work and create their own IPs. He’s probably the only legendary Japanese developer without a protege. Mikami, Kamiya, and Miyamoto have them but not Kojima. He tried with MGS Rising but they fumbled it and had to give it to platinum. Remember that video they had to make because of that.

He said he recently had a health scare which almost ended him and thats why he decided to get back to his roots with this next game.

The guy is 60 now, by the time PHYSNT comes out he’ll be like 65…he should be training a successor

Hideo Kojima - "There are several “Death Stranding” adaptation projects currently underway, but there is a different story I’ve written that’s intended for a movie. But I don’t have the time to direct it, so I won’t. Which is kind of like a test for the third phase. I’m in the second phase now and expanding the IP I made in all sorts of directions, but my other project, “Physint,” is like the gateway into the third phase. I’m trying to make it with people in filmmaking and industries outside of games. So, we may do a movie adaptation at the same time, but we will see. The assets are digital and can be used either way."
