It's amazing how we never lost our swag, it just carried over from africa and continued on, same with music, it's like its encoded in our dna or something.

couple of things I noticed....

1) 2 generations ago people appeared darker skin, and closer to african than we do now. :ohhh:

2) everyone is perming their hair, now if I remember correctly in class, its because of this woman....Madam CJ Walker.

She was the first african american millionaire, the Oprah of that time. She invented relaxer. She was huge back then, and a big influence. People relaxed their hair til the 60s when folks finally started culture revolting, civil rights movement.
