Of course the ATL
knicks, ya'll could always trade for roy hibbert.

he's available and only has 1 year left on his deal so you ain't stuck with him after next summer.

he's at least a legit big body down protecting the rim. since ya'll are below the cap, you wouldn't have to match salaries for him. but then he'd :eat: a lot of ya'll cap space.

Knicks best bet is to load up on rookies, let them play, see how they mesh with Melo and hopefully the Knicks show improvement so that they can be a player in FA next season. Knicks fans shouldn't be concerned about getting big names this offseason, get some guys to round out the roster and go for youth and see what happens

All those years we were strapped with horrendous contracts and way over the salary cap all I could think is if we were under the cap these big free agents would definitely come to NY. Now we have a ton of cap space and nobody wants it :francis:
Breh the bird right money is too much to give up to go to a rebuilding cause that is years away.

The thing is, we're finding out that we actually don't. This is a horrible year for FA cause everyone has cap space and everyone is jacking the prices up...

Free agents who are worth it rarely leave money on the table

man, the knicks can't come outta free agency with nothing to show for it. how are they gonna entice folks in summer 2016 if they got :old: melo and porzingas only???

Knicks gotta see what their youngsters can do and see what the next step is for this team...I think it would be disingenuous to get a bunch of random role players when you're still in rebuild mode. This team won't be good the next couple years but at least they can develop their rookies & role players and see if they can form a core around Melo
