If the Knicks can play d like they did in the second half last night on a more consistent basis....this team will be back to .500 in no time

Knicks play like they did yesterday we should expect to win our 5th game tomorrow

Then, why isn't any of this coming to fruition?

Refs don't want NY to win any games, let alone against the Thunder. It should be another close loss or blowout. NY has to fight cheating refs every night. There's only so many nights you'll overcome the guys who control the game. The refs will find a way to keep taking the ball from NY and giving it to the other team through bogus offensive foul calls or bogus travel calls, place anyone impacting the game on the Knicks in foul trouble, acting like NY didn't foul near the end of the game (so they'll have no chance to win with the foul game), give the other team free throws late that they don't derserve, make bogus calls against NY late, give the other team the ball when they know that team touched it last, give the other team 100 free throws while giving NY 10, etc. Players have literally jumped on 'Melo's back and the refs didn't call it; rookies get that call.

NY isn't losing games because of their defense, nor are they losing games due to an adjustment to their new system, coach, and teammates. NY can do most things right, and they will still lose most games. They will have to play perfectly on most nights to win; no team should have to deal with that. They don't have the same chances as other teams. Even Pablo said (at the 0:35 mark of the video link below) "I feel bad, because I think we deserved to win the game"; he's right.

It's funny how you keep bringing this up when everyone knew it would probably be a lot of losses early on with the new personnel and system. But keep running that agenda breh
What agenda? And people knew they were going to start 4-12 to start the season? That's bullshyt. A lot of dudes on here thought this team was going to contend for a playoff spot not the lottery.
