They didnt drop anything. Retailers are competing with each other for sales.

There's been deals since day one. Free/discounted games. Free/discounted XBL gold and/or controllers. They just shifted those discounts to the console to give the illusion of more value.

Sounds like its costing the retailers a bunch of money to hold on to product that aint moving fast enough. Hence the price drop. :mjpls:

If microsoft was happy with sales, why would they give away titanfall for free.

You think EA was like sure, give our game away for free. No problem brehs!

EA is getting their money from those bundles and microsoft is eating that loss because their desperate.
They already paid EA. the bundles could have been in the cards from jump.

The point is to try to use the TitanFall hype to sell more consoles.

meech is a sad excuse...he is actually a good example of a person who tries to turn a positive out of every negative though, because no matter what happens negatively he has someway to twist it to make it not seem as bad as it really is. But realists see whats going on

So what were the promotions for at launch when there were none on the shelves?


look at every promotion that has been run by retailers..and dont say it doesnt have an affect on microsoft because they sold the system like i saw written before....Mr business "savy" what retailers do is buy less since they have a surplus of inventory no moving so it affects the quarterly sales ahead which is happening to microsoft right now with retailers running promos to move the paperweight boxes you see in the isles of the stores...

and for your question...every system is gone at launch...dont try to act like opening day was a success when in fact 2 weeks later they are all over shelves...why the $449 price with titan fall from microsoft themselves...easy to answer...shyts not moving

Stores have promotions/products go on sale all the time. And selling poorly is not the only reason that happens. You have been able to save $50-$100 of msrp on the purchase of an X1 and some games since day one. Retailers have moved that same $50-$100 around to different products within the Xbox ecosystem to try to drum up sales and most importantly get more sales than their competitors. If Xbox was just not selling and was hurting them, they would send the units back to Microsoft as retailers have some with other failed tech products.

And with that I'm done.
