Intending to try to spend Sony out of business by buying huge publishers and when that doesn't seem to work out now he wants to get brownie points as the "Games should be everywhere!" type of guy. Mario + Rabbids was called a flop by Ubisoft themselves in 2022, Bayonetta Origins and various other Switch games that flopped commercially never gets these panic calls for ports to other platforms though. Nintendo has several franchises that has sold at the same, if not lower numbers overall than some other IPs from Sony yet you never hear anyone say "Super Mario 3D world needs to be on PC and everywhere else, it only sold 24 million across both systems!" but concern trolls will tell you Sony needs to be day and date with PC and port to other platforms because reasons. Splatoon can sell 30 million across 3 entries and that's fine and dandy but a 30+ million Sony franchise needs to be on every platform suddenly.
