Good on MS for reversing it, bringing back 12 month Xbox Live (they havent sold it since last summer) and having Xbox Live match PSN feature set with F2P actually being F2P.

The backlash was coordinated and unforgiving. The PR was so bad, they released an update at midnight eastern time. Good on the gaming media for finally doing something right.

I was a hardcore xbox 360 user. Immensely preferred it over the ps3. But boy Xbox has been fukking up proper for a good while. I ain’t loyal to no brand yet I want xbox to compete and be successful as competition is good for us as consumers as it keeps each side honest trying to innovate. But this shyt is ridiculous. It’s the kind of move that you would think they had the upper hand. I get video games being charged $70 or hell even $80 on the next gen platform. But online service up charge is horseshyt.
