I grew up in Lubbock as a youngster in the 80s we had 2 very limited radio stations FM 99 and Z102 and they both played mostly white pop music like this and shyt I love it and know this song word for word and plenty other songs like it from that era.

Haha, I watched 'Miami Vice' in syndication on FX in the mid 90's, my favorite show, I was 10, and all those Phil Collins songs stuck with me....'I Don't Care Anymore', Bruce Willis was beating his wife, and Crockett had to watch, while surveilling him, 'Long Way To Go' after Tubbs girl Angelina got killed....'Miami Vice' was where I first heard 'What's Love Got To Do With It', and 'You Belong To The City'....Anyway, Phill Collins has been in rotation. Not just as iconic television, the music and visuals as the car rolls down the Miami freeway, but the scene as Crockett calls his ex wife stayed with me, as I used to wonder how to tell various women how i felt....that scene was raw as a kid. 'I just want to know was it real.....' Real shyt to this day, reads like a Weeknd lyric now....

At Ol Otis, I wrote that quote in your sig...Like a year and a half ago in one of those Mob Piru threads....dope, someone appreciated it that much.
