:ahh:

A great album. Havent dusted this off in a while.

Beats 4/5
(A 5 if not for Next shyt and Right Here. A young Alchemist on a beat for suited for Prodigy and Hav, The legend Diamond D :ohlawd:)

Lyrics 5/5 (Its Pharoahe Monch, what more need be said :manny:)
Features 5/5 (Method, Common, Talib and Canibus in his prime :noah:)

To think that Rawkus dropped this and Black on Both Sides in a two week span. Gives you insight on just how incredible it all was back then for hip hop.

Favourite songs:

Queens
The Light
The Truth
God Send :lawd: (What a dope track)

great album

i love it...but his best work came from organized konfusion.

it was nice one of them got to blow up...but on them albums, they were neck and neck, no one outshined one another

Such a great album . A shame it was discontinued because of that Godzilla sample .

Actually , what am I saying ? No one buys music now anyway .

oddly enough I think I preferred Prince Po to Pharoahe. He's more endearing I guess.

i hear you...theres songs where i feel like monch got the best of him...but there were songs where po got him...i feel they were ultimately even

one of the most even groups ever...especially for the level of shyt they were spitting...

they were dropping them "multis" and double entendres and metahors and just subtle slick shyt on top of lyrical gymnastics. all that technical shyt yall talk about on here in 1990 at a high level (higher than anyone today is doing it) when guys like EMPD were reigning....and thats not a diss to EPMD...jus saying they were way ahead of their time
