cats in their prime in no order:

- Slick rick
- Snoop
- Jay
- Meth

Cats like Twista and Ghost are up there too.

Who's in yours?

- Nas
- Tonedeff
- Mos Def
- Pun

Nasir is the oerfect blend of G Rap and Rakim. Tonedeff is :wow: I think Mos is slept on and no need to say anything about Pun. Honorables are Bizzy, Snoop & Kurupt, Biggie, GZA, and Em cuz the last two are damn near robots with how easy the can flow seamlessly over a beat. :ld:

completely agree with Tonedeff, Pun, bizzy and big.

I think Nas' lyrics and delivery are what makes him great. His flow shined on songs like verbal intercourse tho.

I was gonna put Em, but I feel his rhyme schemes, delivery and vocal inflections shine BuT his flow on Renegades may be one of the best ever.

I just don't agree with Gza and kurupt...I'd put ghost (from Wu) and e40 or Tash (from west coast) I'm their places.

Oh and grandmaster caz deserves honorable mention.

It's easy to talk about flow and all that, but how about the understated things about Monch...

Hook on a soulful underground classic...

Creativity and messages...

On a side note, I wish there were more mass-collab projects like Soundbombing in hip-hop. I guess Khaled counts, but it'd be interesting to see a bigger variety of artists coming together.

Simon Says was my jam all of 2001. I used to rinse the fukk out that record. Used to drop every thing and hit the dance floor when it would come on.

Now I know Kurupt has had some years off but at his absolute best, hes one of the best flowers on the west coast all time. Flow is water :wow:

The Genius is so concise and precise with his shyt, but the Wu got some flowers so preference is all on who you favor.
