I don't see how Internal Affairs was underwhelming; Desire was solid (you can call that a bit underwhelming); and W.A.R. was good.

I wouldn't say wack. Internal affairs was very good at the time but even then I thought Mos put out a better album on rawkus. I'd also take equinox over a Monch solo all day.
