Why produce an Attitude era DVD when it's going to be rated TV PG? I know Vince didn't develop an allergy to making money. C'mon Vince, tell your wife to stop playing away games and give us a TV 14 Attitude era DVD.

It gets better

Remember the criticism from the Stamford Advocate regarding WWE pulling edgier footage from its digital platforms only to release an Attitude Era DVD after Election Day? Well it looks like plans for the project due out in November may have
been called off. WWEDVDNews.com is reporting that listings for WWE: The Attitude Era on DVD and Blu-ray formats have been removed from internal schedules for both the United States and Australia. The DVD is still listed on some retail websites but at BestBuy.com, the standard version is no longer available for pre-order. As of this writing there is no confirmation the DVD has been canceled but it certainly looks like the criticism has caused a reaction from the company!

WWE YANKING PLANNED ATTITUDE COLLECTION DVD?
by Mike Johnson @ 3:02 PM on 9/28/2012

One of the top topics we've received emails about in the last 12 hours is a story making the rounds that WWE has pulled their planned "Attitude Era" DVD and Blu-Ray set from its November release.

The story is an offshoot of several media outlets in Connecticut trying to tie the release to Linda McMahon's political endeavors and WWE pulling more risque material from their digital platforms after they were used to attack the McMahon campaign.

However, PWInsider.com reached out to WWE this afternoon and their spokesperson noted, "There is nothing to this rumor."

So, if you were looking forward to the set, it's not being yanked - although it will be rated PG, in keeping with the company's current family friendly product.
