Harvin dude did not have any weakness as far as a skill player goes
Always worth mentioning that the best defensive player in college football in 99 and the actual Heisman winner in 99 both thought Warrick deserved the Heisman
Lavar Arrington dedicated his Bednarik award to Peter Warrick during his acceptance speech and said
And Ron Dayne, who won the Heisman in 99, was asked who he would have voted for as the Heisman winner and he chose Warrick.
This before Peter Warrick went on score 2 receiving touchdowns, 1 punt return touchdown, and amass 220 yards in the national championship
And after the title game...

before he even got drafted there were questions about his size (5'10) and speed (ran a pedestrian time at the combine)...combine that with nagging injuries and you have a player who doesn't last long
Man, Warrick was better. Harvin had elite top end speed, but PW was way more elusive than him. The best dead legs moves ever by a WR. Offenses also were entirely different when Harvin played at FL where he could eat crazy off bubble screens and slips screens and shyt. Where an OC could easily say, “Yeah, he’s touching the ball 8 times this game without us even factoring what he does in the passing game downfield.”
Harvin wasn’t better than Charles Rogers as far as a pure WR in college. Harvin did his thing, though. Don’t take that as a diss.
