We aren't talking about whether he's "pro-american". Thiel is a hardcore anti-government libertarian who claims that government invariably ruins everything, yet he spends all his time collaborating with government. He doesn't even claim particular allegiance to America, he's a huge advocate of seasteading and he bought citizenship in New Zealand during the Obama administration. It's the hypocrisy between the values he exposes and the way he lives his life and makes his money that we're mocking.

The part where he admits that he constantly thinks about how to become immortal, but then is tripped up when the interviewer asks whether he wants his husband to be immortal too and he says he hasn't even considered the question before.
