EA's rep isn't "good" breh.
But seriously, they do have a good catalogue as far as some series I like (Madden, NCAA, Dice Games). I would like EA Access on the PS4. I just wish they did the game previews the way they used to do the Season Ticket back on the EA Sports games where you had full access to the games for days before retail release instead of a few hours.
EA Access is throwing best thing they done probably ever.
no argument from me on that.
I know it's for their own selfish reasons of course and it was done to primarily combat the used game market since they don't get shyt from it. They aint fooling nobody, but it's a good alternative to that online pass nonsense they tried pulling a few years ago
Auto correct destroying my Grammer but it is a great deal. You will forever have all their games released in one application to download and play. Discounts and early releases. Amazing concept and I am glad Microsoft allowed them the possibility to come Xbox Live. Sony has been trying to push their PS Now service but it is not taking off and not a valid reason to include EA Access.
PS Now is actually doing good (not that good of a value to me for many of the game prices, but I don't speak for everyone...it's crazy to me too). Value is in the eye of the beholder. You absolutely want to protect your own investment first so I don't fault Sony for that. That's like opening your own burger estaurant with signs to go to one across the street and shyt. No one does that.
I think PS Now streaming for NEW games would actually work and allow gamers to try out the retail version of some games. I think they are just scratching the surface with PS Now and need to be more aggresive with it's pricing and content.
I can also see EA Access eventually on the 4 as well. When there's a dollar to be made, all bets are off the table.
Well it didn't hurt them putting EA Access on PS Now because EA wouldn't allow their games on PS Now. I am pretty sure plenty of developers in the future will be reluctant to release their games via PS Now as it will cut then out of any profit sort of like Gamestop or Redbox. EA Access is scratching the surface of what developers will start doing but they are doing it perfectly in a sense of incentives to get gamers to buy. Discounts, early access, free DLC Content.
This is what Microsoft wanted in the first place with Xbox One but the fanboys wouldn't allow them. DRM is EA access basically you have to to subscribe to play but you don't own the game actually but it is a process. The games are cheaper than EA Access as well. PS Now will have to stick with their first party exclusives as there is no incentives for developers to allow their games on that service at all.
