Caffeine is bad for the heart in general. It’s a drug basically.

Low level drug and perfectly fine in a balanced intake.

People tend to want to paint things as just good and bad which is too simple of a way to explain most substances you can abuse. The substances are not good or bad. Caffeine serves a great purpose for work alertness and pick me up when needed. Even coca leaves served a purpose for labourers.

You even have natural meth like the plant khat. All these things people abuse then demonize.

Think of it as concentrated this is caffeine powder. pure powder not the same as a cup of coffee but prob equivalent to many cups of coffee.

Don't really need it, but I don't take vitamins or pills, so I get everything I need in supplement form, including nootropics (mood enhancers) bcaa's (for recovery and there's other ingredients I mess with as well, I like hippy dippy herbal shyt in my preworkouts.

Anyone remember the old preworkouts from the early 10s that were banned after it was found out they were filled with meth?

Man, they had the gym jumping like it was Friday night on Monday at 6 AM as you'd stroll through and obliterate your personal bests while Return of the Mack was spinning in your head and you did just that in between sets. The vibe was totally different. Makes sense once you knew what was in them but before that they just seemed hyper effective at motivating your training, lifting your mood and bringing out that crackhead strength which now makes so much more sense when considered from a CNS perspective.

People were fiending like Jodeci when they got pulled from shelves and so many didn't comprehend why they kept on upping the dosage to chase the same effects. Never again.

Depending on your lifestyle and how hard your workouts are, yes a good pre workout does wonders..

A construction worker who does gym work before going to his job would be finished by lunchtime if he didn't have some sort of boost..

Caffeine and creatine is not bad as long as you take nothing =<400mg and give yourself a grace period (maybe 2 hours) between caffeine and creatine.

Your body naturally produces creatine which is also found in most meats. My preworkout has 3g of creatine monohydrate and 175mg of caffeine. I also don't drink more than 1 or 2 cups of coffee a day, black with honey which has about 95mg. That keeps me under 400. I also don't eat like shyt and I drink alot of water, no soda, rarely juice.

Caffeine is still addictive. That's why people drink soda so much. Tea is healthier.
