Looks like a "Golden" version of Persona 5.. I see new character, places and stuff. Not sure what it is yet, I gotta read the news bit.

• Expanded re-release
• Improved graphics with support for the PS4 Pro
• New opening and ending by Lyn, new battle music by Meguro
• Added a popular spot "Kichijoji" that represents Tokyo. New and old various cultures and individuality fuse and attract young and old men and women
• Main new character is called Kasumi Yoshizawa, she is also a transfer student and joins the Phantom Thieves to further her own mysterious goals
• New confidant (Consultant) is called Takuto Maruki. He is a counselor who joined Shujin High following the events of April. Together, he works to help students such as the protagonist
• Game elements have now been completely upgraded. Selfies can now be sent by other members in group chats
• Improvements have been made to the UI

I wonder are they changing the level design of the palaces too cuz I don’t remember using that grapple hook at all during the space station palace or in the game at all

Looks cool tho even tho I personally wanted a smt apocalypse type sequel for P5 but if they change up the game more than what golden did for P4 I would be cool with that.

Yeah i wonder if they are because it looks different. I doubt this is just Persona 5 + some extra stuff poured on top. I think they'll revamp the dungeons or maybe pacing but that's wishful thinking. Guess I'll find out come closer to release date. Good thing I don't have to wait until 2020 so I can jump day 1 in JP.

Edit: I think the dungeons are changed. Look at the picture showing the boss fight of Shadow Kamoshida. Mishima is standing next to him, that wasn't in Persona 5.

Nah it's not like that. If you played Persona 4 Golden, all the changes are interspersed throughout the entire game. It's not like it's Regular game-----------new content-------------Regular game. The new content and changes are built around the game.

If they announce the switch version tomorrow it's gonna be hard to choose which one to get. P5R obviously has alot of bonus content but portable P5 might be too good to pass up. It's obvious the switch version will be a port of the ps3 version though so no enhancements.

By the time it comes out it will be 3 years since P5 dropped. Who are you kidding you'll be in day 1 . Idk why people think it's just a piece of content that's locked away until you reach a specific date and then you see the new additions.
