already said Goku time ran out, he was dyin so yeah his energy was droppin... & Goku wasnt at full strength when he did that blast... plus Cell woulda got murdered by anyone there after Goku gave him that work... Goku put him back at 100% & he still lost... he wasnt doin nothin at 15%... not sayin Cell was weak but he wasnt seein prime Goku... the same dude that never went level 3 & 
Majin Vegeta when he coulda won whenever he wanted... Goku was smilin then gave Cell a senzu bean before he died.. Cell only lived that long cause Gokus an idiot....
wrong goku simply lost to cell at his best was no hidden power none of that he just showed gohan how to fight cell properly simple as that. as far as if they would of attacked cell and beat him after goku fight sure i can believe that shyt and they would win only thing that was off is he never fought goku at full power just gohan dont forget that he did his best after he went ssj2
this is nothing like the buu saga where he was holding back ssj3 he didnt achieve it all or he would of fought cell like that and he wasn't dying either in this where the hell u get that only thing was hi ki was low cuz of the fight not dying buu saga he did the right thing cuz he wasn't always gonna be there so he let goten and trunks work it out
Cell only got that far because Vegeta makes poor choices...Freeza is still the best villain because he gave zero fukks and the idea of even losing to those cats was preposterous to him
Goku without the burden of having to waste time training Gohan would have trained in the Room of Spirit and Time and beaten Cell very easily.
no he wouldn't have. it was just like how gohan learned ssj easier cuz he saw it and was the only one who did and goku learned ssj2 the same way in a sense
put it too u this way once gohan got ssj why wasn't he able to achieve it then when gohan showed he could by awaken it briefly he knew then gohan had surpassed him and just focused on getting stronger himself cuz fighting gohan at ussj goku actually got stronger in return too
dont forgot gohan was wondering how did his dad get so strong so quick well cuz he fought his own son his own son pushed him to the limits to the perfect form of ssj aka ussj
its likely after cell killed him he could of achieved it ssj2 though or on verge of it but this notion of him not helping gohan he would of beaten cell easily is absurd. he helped gohan first reach ssj and down time was training himself
the BIGGEST PROBLEM WHICH ALL OF EM HAD WAS HOW TO GET NEXT LEVEL WITHOUT LOSING SO MUCH SPEED AND MAINTAING THAT POWER. trunks made that mistake and cell showed it too him and goku realized it and so did vegeta
