Rocked a pair of these Black/Gum 1's most of the fall winter. Comfortable, weatherproof, low key enough I could wear them at work instead of having to switch out of boots to other shoes. When the weather broke I started switching up to lighter weight, different materials. But chicago winters I need a thick sole and leather to stay dry.

I never knew that's what these were for, I would just rock longer socks and pull them down and fold the sock in half to prevent the creasing.
