People stealing cars by hacking your key fob from outside your house

most cars keyfob are still connected to these cars when the car is parked so you gotta muffle the signal so people wont be able to open the car doors and or start the engine...
Solution seems simple to me (but I could be missing something, disable the signal if no motion is detected

Literally has been a thing for years now. Had a coworker when living in South Africa have his car stolen from in front of the embassy this way.
Gotta put your shyt in a fukking Faraday cage these days.

the auto industry doesn't care. Car gets stolen insurance buys a new one. Should be a class action lawsuit.
Dumb question do cars not turn off automatically when the stolen car is out of range from the key fob?
