I'm surprised Gruden talked about refs as much as he did last night because NFL doesn't play around.

ESPN had to fall back with Playermakers a few years back, so bytch made SAS would be out of there with quickness (even Skip wouldn't be able to save him). It would be back to sucking up to Hannity.

that's messed up.....but on one hand, last I heard, these refs make like $150,000 a year in the NFL. So I can't feel too sorry for them not having a pension.

How much does Goodell make a year? Because between the players and the refs he being might sheisty wit the money for the actual people who make the league run the way it does. It was aite the first week but it got a lot worse week 2 and u can see the time is gonna come when it causes a team a crucial game for playoff seeding or even in the actual playoffs. The NFL is a multi billion company. They can come off a few mill for the refs.

Most refs have other jobs. Some are judges. Playing football is a full time gig.
