I understand being fat growing up but reaching obesity levels as an adult so unacceptable

So many people out here built like that Dave blunts and that rapper who got rejected by Lyft. So many people on their way to that destination.

Health is wealth and there’s so many people at 25.

This shyt never bothered me growing up but got damn it’s so common. If you live in the Midwest you see hella people with their bellies hanging out their shirt. The type of people who’s legs look like a can of biscuits inside their shoe I’m seeing people who are so big they need to lean onto shyt to even stand up

Please take care of your health my brothers. People under 30 out here on high blood medicine, fighting diabetes, and other health issues.

It's criminal for anyone who isn't suffering from thyroid issues to end up obese. Once you gotta go up in clothe sizes that should be a warning you're headed in the wrong direction if you're not actively lifting weights. Being fat is loser shyt. I see obese people every day and everywhere so it's pretty normalized to me for the most part. But for some reason I saw this young girl in her 20s at the store the other day who was very obese and it hit me with a deep sadness, I don't why. It just left me wondering is anyone trying to help her? But I know it's a delicate subject to approach someone with. Especially if they are female. And it's just one of those things where the person has to take the initiative themself to change.

I told this story before but I came of age in South Texas. I got deployed out of Seattle in ‘11. I’ve never been to the PNW before so when I landed out there and spent a night or two there I’m looking around thinking something is different out here.

It’s not the whiteness or clean air.

I couldn’t put my finger on it.

Finally I realized there weren’t any obese people there.

Generally speaking of course. South Texas is one of the fattest areas in the country. Between being in the south, soul food, lack of walk ability, and boxed shaped, corn fed Mexicans, we are big.

PNW is the land of thin, in shape people.

The weather and customer service is garbage though. Would not move.

Growing up fat is unacceptable and should be a crime.

There should be single digit obesity levels in juveniles and those should only be for medical issues, disability.

What you decide to do with your life after you are an adult while shameful is all on you.

Why not tell a heroin addict to just stop doing heroin? It's that simple right? Anybody battling any addiction knows it's not as simple as just don't do it. It's a battle a lot of people lose.

People are addicted to all sorts of chemicals they put in their bodies why is it food addiction is treated like it's different?

I'm naturally on the thin side myself but I don't see any reason to be overly self-righteous about this some people have metabolic issues

I have a few people in my family that have always struggled with their weight and I'm pretty sure they eat healthier than me
