First, why is she trying to re-define the definition of a millennial? 
Second, while anecdotally (and I recognized how flawed/biased this observation is being a millennial myself) I find millennials to be less susceptible to misinformation, a non-trivial amount do fall prey to it. Misinformation is an a real, engineered threat, that’s getting more efficient over time. We need to stop pretending its something that certain age groups can’t be affected by…this reminds me of the silly “Black people are immune to to COVID” nonsense we used to see early in the pandemic. Not ironically, an example of misinformation that I’ve seen millennials fall victim to as well.

I am a late millennial. I think we were learning to use all this new technology while there was still skepticism about the internet, social media etc Until the late 2000's there was still a gap between the online world and real life, that line has now blurred.

I missed being a millennial by like 5 months and younger folks than I am fell for misinformation. I’m trying to understand how she came to that conclusion. The boomers def are falling for it but they’re old so there’s that. You can’t pin something like this on a generation lol that’s stupid.

people my age view most streamers as just some lame working from his pc in his basement, types that never had a real job or social life. alot of them not even good with hygiene. We not going to take their opinions on real life stuff serious. they don't know anything about real life.
younger people see them as real celebrities, something to aspire to be like one day. (nobody my age told you they wanted to be streamer when they grew up) So there is more of an element of idol worship, they hang on their every word. and therefore these streamers have a much stronger influence on shaping their views.
if they were pushing redpill content on 106th and park and MTV back in the day. we likely would have been on the same boat.

We were forged in the fires of pop up ads, Ads you damn near had to restart your computer to get out of, Rick rolls, and videos with scream jumpscares. We were always on the lookout for bullshyt so now we can easily spot it.

Millennials had access to the Internet when it was still relatively untamed. So you can choose your interests.
Gen Z and Gen Alpha are basically spoon fed to them and have known social media most of their lives. They don't really watch TV so their attention spans are short so it's not as hard feed them radicalism and alternate facts because on top of a being victims of no child left behind. They take information at face value because they weren't trained to think critically.
