I wouldn't say millennials are 100% immune to disinformation, obviously, but we're better than the other generations.

Zoomers were raised by social media algorithms so half of them are Nazis now. Boomers believe anything on FB or Youtube that fits their cognitive bias, because they came into the game before social media and treat it like the news.

Millennials had social media from a young age, BUT still remember the world before it, so we have more perspective.

What do Boomers do online? Many are scared to pay bills online. Maybe TV disinformation, ALOT of them still prefer paper and ink publications

Gen Z wants everybody to pay their bills. I can't take alot of them seriously until a LARGE multitude of them are taking care of themselves. If they can come up with new ways to sustain themselves whole sale then I can respect that. Other than that, just feigning intelligence and not applying it anywhere pragmatically is like loving to hear yourself talk or listening to your own thoughts 24/7.

And Gen X ?(1965-1981)

The silent generation(1927-1945)

( yes, many of them are still alive and well. They’re not all dead yet)

Because we lived our live with one toe out of tech and slowly transitioned to it.

We got to see it play out in real time.

I think Millennials received the best k-12 educational experience as well, at least pre 2008
the algorithm point is a major one. We didn’t have anyone curating anything.

Chronically online people = introverted homebodies with no social life, hobbies, passions and friends. Lower self esteem than average. Many of them are perpetually unemployed or school dropouts. Many of them can’t make the difference between real news and fake news.
