This is some real shoot yourself in the foot shyt that shows me WWE's marketing team doesn't get the internet like they think they do. Pointing this out is only going to draw heat on the company, real heat with real world consequences. This kind of thing is going to lead to weeks and months of negative articles and talking points, and then WWE is going to have to address the issue outside of kayfabe and bring more work on themselves for damage control.
This is kind of the same as when they decided they'd point out how terrible they were to women for years and then had to spend 2 years rehabbing themselves as a company in a PR sense when they could have just put the women on TV in competitive matches taken seriously from the start.

Why did you go in on Kofi this hard man? Kofi has never done anything that I'd consider him a c00n for and why go in on Kofi for being carried? A guy like HHH never matched his contemporaries and he routinely was made the most important guy in stables with wrestlers who were more popular than him. Breh's push was removed because he blew a single spot and since then he has been putting over matches like Benjamin as have many other athletic black wrestlers have done for TLC, Royal Rumble, and MITB matches, it's time that a black wrestler profits off of it. Bryan can afford to drop the title, he'll get another run.
We get it...Bryan has no problem losing right in the middle of the ring to him. Everybody knows that...he loves the irony of Kofi being in his WM XXX spot of giving the people what they want. But Kofi is not that dynamic..he's just lucky the New Day saved his career.
