What's with those tags :dahell:? This is not really hotepping, most black people don't want to hear that "all lives matter" bullshyt, and that's pretty reasonable. "Anti black" is a harsh way of putting it, but it's understandable to not be happy about that.

Anti-black:rocky:That isnt anti black. Its goddamn evidence she is missing the point (to say that black lives matter, not that others dont). Nobody is stopping her from doing the muslimlivesmatter and whatnot. She has a platform. Are Kendrick and Beyonce muslim? Even if they were, why are they responsible for an issue that is clearly more important to you?

Man, folks always interjecting dumb shyt into simple situations. Do it your damn self.:justgodude:

Btw, the concentration of alt black women:letyasoulglow:Gotta be hell for a nerds heart:blacknerdlost:

Most people are missing the point of what she said.

She not saying that they should say Muslim lives matter or Syrian lives matter, shes saying that because of the current climate in America, you can't.

M.I.A headlining doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I'm contemplating going to Afropunk, especially because it's close to me but if the crowd is anything like the NY one, I'll pass. People show up dressed on some other shyt

Only thing pulling me in is Soulection and all the chicks with Afros smelling like Shea Butter :noah:

These hotep nikkaz genuinely don't know when to give it a rest and read what was actually said.

"Anti Black" :mjlol:

:mjlol: This insult has lost all meaning.

You are literally calling the clowns who first started using "hotep" as an insult, hoteps.

Y'all nikkas just call any black person y'all don't like a hotep.

Nothing is stopping her from doing it(though I imagine she does.)
She has to remember, 911, Charlie, paris, etc....muslims are being judged by their worst. Its unfair, but most people aint caping like that cause this shyt is all recent. We not gonna pretend like others aint out here doing mad dirt, but the muslim faith getting shine right now, and who better to speak up than muslims?

People have really appropriated a movement, in BLM, that was simply created as a response to how black people felt about their community being murdered on camera with no repercussions. Anyone who says [insert] lives matter in a non-joking context is simply missing the point. BLM seems to have taken that name in a desperate plea for a response, it's a shame that the one given is belittling.

OK, but so are Black people. Hasn't stopped the Black lives matter movement from being part of the mainstream conversation.
